The most important European authorities and all Romanian key institutions in charge with the finalizing and implementing the revised Payment Services Directive (PSD2) will join together in Bucharest to discuss about how the new business environment is about to change, pretty soon.

The fintech industry is about to experience one of the biggest changes in years through the provision of ‘API as a service’ as a result of PSD2. The law was created with the aim of harmonising the European retail payments markets by enhancing consumer protection, promoting innovation and improving the security of payment services.
