Starting with 1996, Antonio has been actively involved in the Romanian Internet and Telecom business. With focus on mobile technologies, mobile payments and marketing services.
In 2003 he co-founded NETOPIA. Located in Bucharest and with a branch in Silicon Valley, is Romania’s premier mobile marketing and payments provider, with over 50% market share.
The company has developed mobilPay Wallet app, the first Romanian product ever awarded in a fintech competition from Silicon Valley, and couple of platforms like web2sms.ro, a self managed platform for mobile campaigns, krtela.ro – the market leader for online recharge market and mobilender.mx, launched in Mexico in 2014; mobilender is the only mobile exclusive lending solution allowing users to apply for a credit regardless their location, and receive money in less than 15min.
Antonio has founded BTKO.in, a specialised BITCOIN Exchange for Eastern Europe. He is also involved in angel Investments and mentorship for Romanian based start-ups in IT, hardware, commerce & services.
