Erik Cebik – Head of applied data science at Vacuumlabs
Erik is passionate about turning data insights into business value and helping people manage personal finance.
He is a co-founder of DataTree, a data science company specializing in automating transaction analytics. DataTree delivers comprehensive transaction enrichment, automated detection of client event and characteristics as well as advanced ML-based modeling on enriched data. Erik’s passion lies in making insightful financial advice available to all clients of retail banks. Prior to DataTree, Erik was a senior consultant at BCG, working on numerous assignments in CEE and southeast Asia. Erik is also a CFA charter holder.

Since September 2020, Erik has also been acting as Head of applied data science at Vacuumlabs – delivering data science projects and developing end-to-end solutions with the sole intention of identifying and extracting tangible value from data.
