Florin Ilie – Head of Financial Markets Corporate Sales for Central & Eastern Europe at ING
As Executive Director for Financial Market Sales of ING in Central and Eastern Europe, Florin Ilie coordinates activities in Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Russian Federation, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Turkey, Ukraine and Hungary.
He has 20 years working experience, of which 15 years at ING. In the financial-banking field, he previously worked as brokerage director, financial director and strategy director; he also worked in consulting and diplomacy.
In 2012, Reuters-Thompson ranked in the top three financial analysts in Central and Eastern Europe.
Florin holds a master’s degree in finance from Harvard University, a master’s degree in economics and social sciences from Manchester University and a doctorate in economics from the Academy of Economic Studies. He also studied at the Univeridad de Alcala and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
