Radu Popa, CTO – LUXHUB
With more than 20 years experience in software development and business acumen in telecommunication and financial areas, Radu holds dual MSc degrees in Physics and Computer Science.
His current focus areas are Platform as a Service, API architecture and distributed systems.
After a global career in corporate and startup environments, Radu moved to Luxembourg and joined the dynamic fintech sector of the country, being instrumental in the release and implementation of Digicash, the leading mobile payment solution in the region.
In 2018 Radu has joined LUXHUB as CTO in charge of the technology strategy and product development of the company.
LUXHUB was created by the 4 major retail banks in Luxembourg to help coping with the implementation of the PSD2 directive and the challenges and opportunities of open banking. The company has insured successful PSD2 implementation for its customers and recently launched its new aggregation platform, LUXHUB One.
