She is the representative of the National Bank of Romania at the meetings organized at the level of the Council of the European Union and the European Commission regarding the European legislative projects in the field of payments (eg EU Regulation No 751/2015 on multilateral interchange fees charged for card-based payment transactions, amendment of EU Regulation No 924/2009 on cross-border payments, Revised Payment Services Directive).
Since October 2018, she coordinates the activity of the Payment Monitoring Service and payment instruments – the structure that is responsible for ensuring compliance with the security requirements set out in the revised Payment Services Directive (PSD2), as well as other requirements that are set out in the NBR regulations for payment service providers, from the perspective of payment security and safetiness.
