Ruxandra Avram – Director of Financial Market Infrastructures and Payments Oversight at National Bank of Romania
With a career spanning over 30 years in the Romanian banking system including 25 years with the Central Bank, Ruxandra is the appointed national representative within the Market Infrastructures and Payments Committee established at the level of European Central Bank, participating in the elaboration of the European standards regarding the monitoring of the financial market infrastructure and payment instruments.
Ruxandra Avram is currently heading the Financial Markets Infrastructures and Payments Oversight Department within National Bank of Romania with main responsibilities in the supervision of payments, with the end goal of ensuring the security and the efficiency of payments.
