The international fintech conference – Banking 4.0 has established its Advisory Board. The premieres of the event.

Scheduled for November 25 and 26 at the Athenee Palace Hilton in Bucharest, the second edition of the International Fintech Conference Banking 4.0 set its priorities during the first meeting of the Advisory Board.

Most of these priorities are innovations for events in this business category – fintech.

As the conference focuses on emerging technologies that will change the financial-banking industry (AI, biometrics, blockchain, machine learning, Robotic Process Automation), this will be seen from the registration of participants, when the “face recognition” technology will be used. It will be for the first time in Romania when the participants in a business event will be authenticated by facial recognition.

Also, the most recent studies have shown that in the process of digital transformation, talent acquisition is at least as important as cyber security. In this context, the event will introduce – also for the first time – an HR section.

Finally, because as of September 14 when the new regulations regarding the European Directive on payment services (PSD2) will be in place, it will be organized a hackathon within the event that will invite the participants to test the APIs launched by the Romanian banks – a new premiere. The objectives for this hackathon will be to test banks’ efficiency and to obtain new business models and a better user experience for their customers.

“We want to place Banking 4.0 on the map of regional events dedicated to fintech trends, with major impact among experts in the financial-banking field. Therefore, compared to the first edition we doubled everything: the number of days allocated to the debates, the spaces for the exhibitors, the audience – both participating countries and the number of companies present. During the two intense days of debates, presentations, exhibitions and hackathons, we expect 500 participants from at least 18 countries. We have a clear vision of what we have to do and a strong Advisory Board, which will be close to succeed in this mission. ” said Sergiu Cone, organizer of Banking 4.0.
