Alfred Taudes is the Academic Director of Research Institute for Cryptoeconomics within Vienna University of Economics and Business (which he founded in 2018) and founder and coordinator of Austrian Blockchain Center and he’s coming to the Spring edition of Banking 4.0 – the international conference dedicated to crypto, digital assets and
DeFi to deliver a keynote speech.
Only 5% of Europeans invest in crypto and amongst them only 10% are women. The core target of investors are young men working in IT with a university degree, says Professor Alfred Taudes, quoted by Business Magazine.
Mr. Taudes says the overall value of the investment depends on the risk appetite, but he says that the ideal amount people should invest is 5% of their income. How long should they wait to harvest the best yield? Around 10 years is Mr. Taudes’ answer.
Born in Vienna, Alfred Taudes is a professor at Vienna University of Economics and Business from 1993. A year later he founded the Scientific Lead of the Austrian Blockchain Center. Today he is the lead coordinator of the Center.
